First produced in 1938 and ending in 2003, the Beetle is the longest a vehicle has been produced in history.
The People's Car would be available to citizens of Germany through a savings scheme, for about the price of a small motorcycle. The last original Beetle, number 21,529,464 was assembled and immediately retired on July 31st, 2003, in Pueblo, Mexico, the last global Beetle production plant. That Beetle is now on display at Volkswagen's Auto Museum in Wolfsburg, Germany.
The Volkswagen Beetle is certainly one of the most Iconic cars ever made. Our white 1974 convertible with white interior is a beautiful Karmann conversion and has that unique 1600cc boxer engine sound.
